Annual Induction Dinner
January 16, 2026
On Thursday, January 15, 2026, we gathered at the Penn Club in Midtown Manhattan for our annual new member induction dinner. We were proud to welcome our newest members, hear an engaging and thoughtful keynote address from Professor Lynne Sagalyn of Columbia University, enjoy lively conversation, and reinforce the intellectual core of our community.
The evening also provided an opportunity to reflect on the past year’s accomplishments, including talks by former City Planning Commissioner Dan Garodnick and Annmarie Gray on City of Yes Housing Opportunity, and Kate Slevin of the Regional Plan Association on the Interborough Express. Members also enjoyed recalling the amazing building tours, including of the new JPMorganChase Headquarters and the sustainability initiatives tour underway at the Empire State Building, given by Dana Schneider.
