LAI Baltimore’s Annual Meeting was held November 19, 2026 at the Canopy Hotel at 1215 Wills Street, Baltimore where members and guests mingled, a new Board slate was presented welcoming Matthew Kimball with Himmelrich Associates, as new Chapter President and two new board members Bob Gerhman with BCT Architects and Nicole Mathison with Real Property Research Group. New LAI Members were inducted. The LAI Baltimore 2025 Chapter Member of the Year Award was presented to Immediate Past Chapter President, Michael Cordes, retired from ColumbiaNational Real Estate Finance, LLC.
Luncheon Keynote Speaker Max Beatty, Beatty Development Director of Operations, presented Harbor Point’s Development History, followed by a tour of key projects anchoring this thriving, new Baltimore neighborhood. Harbor Point is one of the most consequential and impactful development projects in Baltimore’s history, having transformed from a former EPA Superfund site into a vibrant, highly desirable, mixed-use neighborhood attracting prominent office tenants, retailers and upscale apartment residents. Max provided an overview of Harbor Point’s development, followed by a tour of several of Harbor Point’s most recent additions, including the new T. Rowe Price office building.
