LAI COMMITTEES:

Lambda Alpha International committees provide members with common interests an outlet to engage, exchange ideas, and contribute efforts that will not only support the society but will advance the practice of land economics. Serving on a committee is a two-year commitment.

Archives:

Preserves and maintains LAI’s archives and historical records.

The History and Archives Committee shall have prime responsibility in effecting:

Develop & Fund Comprehensive History & Archives Program

Create and maintain, with funding as needed, an ongoing history of modern land economics for public online access and in digital and paper archives.

Maintain History Timeline

Maintain the graphic and text online LAI Timeline.

Update History Posting & Archives Records

Research and expand the online history of land economics and maintain that history going forward for both digital and paper archives

Ensure Accuracy & Thoroughness in LAI Records

Monitor and manage the online history and recorded archives (including hard copy archives at Cornell University library) for LAI International and chapters as determined.

Research & Post Land Economics History

Working with the established communications policies and practices, record a timely, accurate and thorough history of land economics.
