Sachin Shailendra
President, SG Contracting, Inc.
Chairman of Rowen Foundation Board of Directors

Sachin will share the story of Rowen, the state’s largest innovation community. From land assembly to entitlement to infrastructure to first tenant, Mr. Shailendra will offer details on how the project came to be, its unique foundation-led structure, and its partnership with Gwinnett County and several of the state’s top universities.

Sachin Shailendra serves as President of SG Contracting, providing strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of the company’s operations. With more than 23 years of experience in the construction management industry, he leads the alignment of people, projects, and resources to deliver successful outcomes for clients throughout the Southeast. Known for his integrity, collaborative leadership style, and commitment to exceeding client expectations, Sachin has played a key role in establishing SG Contracting as a trusted partner for complex public-sector, institutional, aviation, and secure government facilities.

Actively involved in every project, Sachin is committed to delivering exceptional service, transparency, safety, and performance. His extensive construction expertise, practical problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills have contributed to the successful delivery of major state, municipal, aviation, and correctional projects across Georgia and the Southeast.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Sachin is deeply committed to civic, educational, and philanthropic leadership. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Regents for the University System of Georgia and is Chairman of The Rowen Foundation Board of Directors. He is also actively involved with organizations that support education, public safety, leadership development, and community advancement, including The Carter Center Board of Councilors, the Atlanta Police Foundation, the Rotary Club of Atlanta, the Atlanta Speech School, and the Georgia Research Alliance.

Sachin earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His passion for servant leadership, community engagement, and excellence in construction continues to shape SG Contracting’s culture and long-term success.
