In the continuing "The Color of Law" Series LAI NYC Chapter with Fordham University presents Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, Ethics, and Appraisal Bias.
Lisa Desmarais, SRA is Vice President of Appraisal Issues at The Appraisal Foundation. She is The Appraisal Foundation’s senior staff contact regarding the work of the Appraisal Standards Board (ASB) and Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB). Lisa provides technical valuation expertise for the organization, addressing inquires from appraisers, users of appraisal services, regulators, educators, and the public regarding the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and appraiser qualifications. She also acts as a primary resource for media and public relations inquiries, and is the author of articles and technical papers. She manages The Appraisal Foundation's Board support staff.
