Educated in landscape architecture and architecture, Marc Ryan is a founding partner at PUBLIC WORK, an urban design & landscape architecture studio. Marc brings diverse experience in projects at multiple scales to guide public realm design, planning and infrastructure projects so they relate powerfully to their context and enhance the quality and experience of urban life. He played a large role in the creation of the Public Space Framework Plan and Central Waterfront Secondary Plan, documents driving many of the park projects across the Central Waterfront. Bringing a strong interest in Toronto’s history and cultural heritage landscapes, he is currently coordinating the development of the 43-acre Fort York site, including the Visitor Centre, Fort York Pedestrian/ Bicycle bridge, and ‘Project: Under Gardiner’ which stretches across Fort York.

Ontario Place Revitalization — Patrick Morello, Principal, LANDinc
