September Luncheon: State of the Region, the Leadership Perspective

Regional decision making is a complex web of interconnected elements – natural resources, land, economics, social dynamics – and all of the over 8 million residents in the six county region are affected. This panel will investigate regional perspectives from three unique perspectives. From elected officials, local planning leadership and a neighborhood based national thought leader, we will better understand our mutual and shared interests as well has how we can strengthen the region as a whole. We will discuss the regional impact of policy and learn what opportunities and challenges exist. The regional perspective allows us to test ideas in a diverse market. The panel will discuss their impact on the region and how to coordinate initiatives to leverage our unique position.
