Join us for an evening of networking and canapes and what are sure to be entertaining
and engaging presentations from your fellow members

In honour of our newest 25 member inductees that have recently joined our Vancouver Chapter, were “Mixing” things up and are hosting LAI’s first ever PechaKucha style event at Steamworks Pub in Gastown!

For those unfamiliar with what this is, PechaKucha is a presentation format that involves sharing 20 slides, each displayed for 20 seconds. The term comes from the Japanese word for “talking”. The slides advance automatically, and the speaker must time their speech to match the images. The result is a concise, visually engaging presentation that lasts about 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

At a PechaKucha Night, individuals gather at a venue to share personal presentations about their work. The format of the event will consist of a total of 8 presentations from our members on a variety of topics (related to their business or personal interests or land economics topics in general) broken up with a networking break between the two sessions.
