Transit is facing an impending funding crisis as well as shifts in use following the pandemic. The Plan of Action for Regional Transit was developed by CMAP in 2023, and the Metropolitan Mobility Authority Act was introduced in the Illinois State Legislature in the spring.

What is the future vision for transit that this region wants and how do we get it? This panel will discuss the current challenges transit is facing and how current proposals could address them.
