Location: Meet at the Entrance to Faneuil Hall Marketplace by the Samuel Adams Statue in Boston, 4 South Market Street, Boston, MA 02109

Initial meeting at 10:30 am at Faneuil Hall entrance by Samuel Adams Statue. Walking tours will taken on the famous Freedom Trail and in the North End. Lunch around Faneuil Hall.

Reconvene after lunch at Faneuil Hall. Walk with guides to Rowes Wharf, where we will board our boat, the Lexington, for a 3:00 pm departure. Boat will return to same dock at 5:00 pm. Guests may choose to join Boston LAI Chapter members for dinner at one of Boston’s great restaurants (lists of options will be sent our for selection prior to the program).

July 24th, we convene at the Prudential Center Lobby 800 Boylston Street Boston, MA 02199 at 9:45 am. Following visit at Prudential Tower “View Boston,” board trolley ride at 11:00 am. Tour through Back Bay and the Seaport neighborhood, concluding around 1:00 pm, with the opportunity for lunch in the area with tour participants.

The Boston Semi-Q program will encompass two days, July 23rd and July 24th. Day One begins at the Samuel Adams statue in front of Faneuil Hall at 10:30 am. Tour guides Jim O’Connell and Mary Margaret Griffin will lead visitors to American Revoluiton sites along famous Boston Freedom Trail and in the North End. Guests will have lunch on their own in the Fanueil Hall-Quincy Market area following the tour. They will reconvene at 2:30 pm to walk to the Boston Harbor to board our boat, the Lexington, for a two-hour tour of Boston Harbor, narrated by staff from the Massachusetts Port Authority, owner/operator of the harbor and Logan International Airport. Those who wish may join Boston LAI Chapter members for a 7:00 pm dine-around at one of Boston’s great restaurants.

On Day Two we convene at 9:45 am at the Prudential Center Mall’s “View Boston” kiosk ifor a guided viewing of the city from the panoramic Prudential Center “View Boston” Observation Deck. At 11:00 am we board our trolley for a guided tour though Back Bay and Downtown Boston to an in-depth exploration of the new Seaport District. The Boston LAI tour will conclude in the Seaport, where visitors will be able to have lunch with Boston LAI members at selected eating places.
