Fort Mason at 50: A Tour of Visionary Projects and Public Places

Join us for a special walking tour of Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture as we explore recent and upcoming capital projects and placemaking initiatives in anticipation of the organization’s 50th anniversary in 2027. Tour highlights include:
– The transformation of the former SFAI campus at Pier 2 into the new Gateway Pavilion event venue
– The recently completed Pier 3 Concept Design by LMS Architects
– A proposal to convert a historic train tunnel portal and railbed into a public plaza

Founded in 1977, Fort Mason Center is a vibrant gathering place and historic San Francisco waterfront home for thought-provoking programs, art, events, and organizations that inspire creativity.
