Let's explore innovative ideas and challenge the status quo. Don't miss out on this opportunity to be part of the conversation!

The interstate highway network, key portions of which were built nearly 70 years ago, is increasingly aging and in need of repair or replacement. We find ourselves at a critical juncture now and will set a precedent with how we proceed. Our interstate system is still vital for transportation and the movement of goods between our cities and states. However, how highways interface with the human environment requires us to reevaluate its purpose and function within urbanized places.

With an entirely new set of priorities, how can we re-conceive our roadways to address historical harms, lower emissions, create healthier cities, and foster economic development, all while designing for transit of the future?

Join us on March 13th at 3 p.m. at the Sunrise Banks Corporate Office for a thought-provoking discussion, as we dive into questions we should ask ourselves when reinvesting in highway infrastructure. We'll explore new ideas and possibilities for our roadway spaces, challenge traditional thinking, and consider innovative solutions.

After the program, members and guests are invited to enjoy a refreshing social hour at Kimley-Horn in their Atrium Space.

We look forward to seeing you there!
