Frank Remesch, a Baltimore native, has been with the Arena for over 35 years. Remesch began his career with the Arena in 1988 as the building electrician, worked his way up the ranks; being promoted to Director of Contracts and Technical Services, Director of Operations, and Assistant General Manager. In 2004, Remesch became General Manager with 1st Mariner Arena, later to be renamed, Royal Farms Arena. Throughout the next several years, under his direction, the historic facility was continuously ranked among the Top Grossing Venues in North America and the World from 2008-2020.
Today, Remesch continues his legacy at the helm of the newly reimagined and reinvented, CFG Bank Arena, proudly one of Oak View Groups (OVG), owned and operated facilities. Frank was pivotal in overseeing the recent transformation of CFG Bank Arena and its $250M+ renovation cultivating a world-class entertainment venue in the heart of downtown Baltimore. Now an East Coast, must-play, destination for tours and artists, the iconic entertainment venue welcomed guests in early April 2023, with sold-out performances by Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band and The Eagles.
Currently, Remesch oversees a staff of 55 full-time employees, as well as over 1,200 part-time staff members at CFG Bank Arena. The venue is slated to host more than 120 major events annually. Since its grand reopening in April, CFG Bank Arena has hosted several diversified events and boasts over 20 sold out shows to date.
Remesch also serves on boards such as Soft Side, Visit Baltimore, and Cool Kids and is an active supporter of BARCS. He is also a member of Downtown Partnership, Greater Baltimore Committee, and IAAM.
