The Role and Potential Risk of Social Media in the
Participatory Planning Process Related to Land Development – Phase Two
This Phase II study examined the role of automated social media accounts in participatory planning processes related to land development. This phase builds on Phase I research conducted last year which studied the risks that social media manipulation poses to online community discourse around land development and planning topics. Both phases were funded by grants from the Land Economics Foundation (LEF) of LAI.
