Emerging challenges to the district's economic vibrancy include disruptions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, shifting work/life balance patterns, competition from neighboring mixed-use office districts, and changing retail dynamics. In the last of our 2-part series, hear from LAI members and key City staff, Rich Hillis, SF Planning Director, and Anne Taupier, Director of Development at the Mayor’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development, on the City’s efforts to revitalize Downtown San Francisco.
