Our Speakers

Lee Ishida, SKS Partners

Lee Ishida is a Senior Project Manager at SKS Partners in San Francisco.

She has over 14 years of structural design and construction administration experience in the commercial, private, and public building sector prior to joining SKS in 2014. At SKS, Lee has been involved with developing commercial and medical office new construction as well as redevelopment. She has been a long-time mentor, committee member, and supporter of the ACE Mentor Program across the country in Chicago, LA, and San Francisco. Lee holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas and a MS degree from Stanford University.

Patrick Otellini, Swinerton Builders

Patrick Otellini is the National Affordable Housing Director for Swinerton. Patrick works with owners during the preconstruction process to help them understand and navigate various jurisdictional requirements to deliver the affordable housing our communities desperately need. He manages permitting and inspections, interfaces with public-sector agencies, and acts as the community liaison on multiple projects. Prior to joining Swinerton, he served as the Chief Resilience Officer and Director of Earthquake Safety for the City and County of San Francisco under Mayor Edwin Lee. He received his Master of Construction Management from New School of Architecture and Design and his Bachelor of Political Science from Westmont College. He also serves on the boards of Rebuilding Together San Francisco and Urban Ed Academy.

Jeff Brink, DCI Engineers

Jeff Brink has 25 years of experience in the structural engineering profession and during that time has collaborated on the design and construction of highly complex and innovative projects including residential and office high-rises, mixed-use facilities, and numerous specialty buildings. Jeff’s expertise in structural systems includes concrete, steel, and mass timber or “CLT”, which has become one of the focal points of DCI Engineers as it continues to focus on opportunities to improve the sustainability of the built environment. Jeff serves as the CEO of DCI Engineers as well as the Principal in Charge of DCI’s San Francisco office.
