Potrero Power Station - A generational project for San Francisco’s waterfront
It would not be uncommon for broker listings to rely on a bit of hyperbole in selling San Francisco real estate, but when the Potrero Power Station hit the market as a “once-in-a-generation” opportunity, it may have been an understatement. Don’t miss the behind-the-scenes story of this incredible development.
Encompassing 29-acres of waterfront property, without any Port lease restrictions thereto, the Potrero Power Station represents a historic opportunity for the City to open up a portion of its waterfront for the first time in 150 years, and its developer Associate Capital to build a modern, mixed-use neighborhood for the 21st century.
The project includes 2,400 units of housing, with 30% below market rate, approximately 7 acres of open space, 1.8M square feet of commercial uses, and a multitude of other features including childcare facilities, community facilities, and historic preservation efforts to name a few.
