CONFERENCE WEBSITE - http://www.aumlaiglobalconference.org/
March 11-13, 2017
Hotel Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai.
Purpose:
This conference will present a unique and affordable opportunity for LAI members and guests to learn more about India, it's cities, urban development efforts, and investment opportunities in India
The Indian government has put a number of major urban policy initiatives in place, including a major city Smart Growth Program, that focuses on initiatives to attract investment, improve infrastructure and invest in health, economic and education projects to improve the quality of life for urban dwellers. Reflecting this national effort, the leadership of the State of Maharashtra and its capital city, Mumbai, is also pursuing a broader program to bring similar investment to cities within the State. The time is right to demonstrate how concerted public and private actions, locally and internationally, can move the nation forward and give LAI a platform for interested members to make a contribution and establish positive professional and business relationships.
The conference will feature speakers and access to individuals representing the National, State of Maharashtra and Mumbai governments, economists, planners and local developers plus extensive networking opportunities, and city and project tours. It will conclude with an AUM Chapter Awards Dinner.
