Ebola Update
1. As declared by the World Health Organization, the Ebola infection occurs from direct contact through broken skin or mucous membranes with the blood, or other bodily fluids or secretions (stool, urine, saliva, semen) of infected people. No experience or track record of infection through the air.
2. In Spain there is only one infected person. She was one of the nurses attending the person who was infected in Africa and was brought to Spain to try to palliate the disease. She is isolated.
3. The places and areas we are visiting are not close to the hospital where the infected person is isolated.
4. As per the indications above, we should not be concerned during our stay in Madrid. In any event we are carefully following any change on this issue and we will report back to you.
